The Camp Sequassen Maintenance Committee (CSMC) is a volunteer group dedicated to maintaining and improving one of the Northeast’s premier Scout camps. Since the 1960s, the committee has ensured the safety, upkeep, and appearance of camp facilities, from cabins and trails to waterfronts and program areas. Each year, the CSMC organizes a major work party in the spring and hosts smaller work parties throught the year to keep the camp in top condition. Through its Sequassen Steering Committee, the group also manages strategic projects and funding for property and program improvements, ensuring Camp Sequassen remains strong, sustainable, and ready for future generations.
Events

Camp Sequassen
Camp Sequassen’s major work parties are held every May and serve as the signature annual event of the Camp Sequassen Maintenance Committee. Volunteers tackle important improvement projects across camp, helping ensure the property remains strong, safe, and ready to deliver the best possible Scouting experience.

Our Mission
The Camp Sequassen Maintenance Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers who, working side-by-side with Ranger Dave Boyajian, are devoted to making Camp Sequassen the best Scout Camp in the Northeast. Along with Ranger Dave, the CSMC takes a lead to ensure the safety, good repair, and general appearance of Sequassen facilities and grounds, and, as importantly, to support the many exciting programs offered there for Scouts and their Leaders.
