Roger Sherman Pavilion

Camp Sequassen offers a variety of rentable facilities to suit groups of all sizes and activities. The Dining Hall is a perfect space for large gatherings with a commercial kitchen available, if needed. The Amphitheatre provides a natural outdoor stage for performances or ceremonies, while Clark Field and Platt Field offer expansive spaces for sports, games, or group activities. Farley Pavilion, located at the waterfront, and Rocky’s and Pisani Pavilions provide sheltered areas for dining, gatherings, or crafts. The Tomahawk Yard is ideal for outdoor games and exercises, making every rental versatile and functional.

English Dining Hall

The Dining Hall at Camp Sequassen is one of the most versatile and widely used facilities available for rental. Centrally located in camp, it provides a spacious indoor venue that can accommodate large groups for meals, meetings, training sessions, or special events. With ample seating for 352 and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the Dining Hall is ideal for both formal and casual gatherings. A projector screen is available for use by groups as well.

The building is equipped with a commercial kitchen, making it possible to prepare meals for large groups or to host catered events. Tables and chairs are arranged to allow flexibility in setup, whether for dining, instructional workshops, or recognition ceremonies. Rental of the Dining Hall also includes access to nearby restrooms and easy walking distance to Clark Field, the trading post, and other central camp facilities.

Prices below show the rate to rent the dining hall and the kitchen, if needed. Renters must have a person certified in ServSafe to use the kitchen.

In-Council Scouting Rate:
Day: $170 (dining hall) + $135 (kitchen)
Weekend: $250 (dining hall) + $200 (kitchen)

Out-of-Council Scouting Rate:
Day: $215 (dining hall) + $170 (kitchen)
Weekend: $315 (dining hall) + $250 (kitchen)

Amphitheatre

The Amphitheatre at Camp Sequassen offers a scenic and inspiring setting for ceremonies, campfires, and performances. Located in a natural clearing with a backdrop of tall pines, it provides tiered seating that can accommodate large groups comfortably. This outdoor venue is perfect for courts of honor, closing campfires, or special programs, creating a sense of tradition and community. The amphitheatre’s setting allows for excellent visibility and acoustics, enhancing both formal and informal events. Renting the amphitheatre ensures a memorable gathering space that captures the spirit of camp and celebrates Scouting in a natural, meaningful environment.

Clark Field

Clark Field is one of Camp Sequassen’s largest and most versatile outdoor spaces, ideal for sports, games, and large group activities. Its central location in camp makes it a hub for recreation and gatherings, whether for troop competitions, training exercises, or evening programs. The field’s size allows for multiple activities to run simultaneously, from soccer and ultimate frisbee to camp-wide challenges. Renting Clark Field ensures groups have access to a flat, open space that supports both structured events and casual recreation. It is a favorite location for building teamwork, enjoying friendly competition, and creating lasting camp memories.

Farley Pavilion at the Waterfront

Farley Pavilion, located at Camp Sequassen’s waterfront, provides a covered space ideal for groups enjoying aquatic activities on West Hill Pond. The pavilion offers shade and shelter while remaining steps away from the swimming and boating areas. With picnic tables and open-air seating, it is perfect for instruction, group meetings, or relaxing between water activities. Its location enhances any aquatics program by offering a dedicated gathering space near the lake. Renting Farley Pavilion ensures convenience, comfort, and an excellent base for Scouts, leaders, and families to enjoy the full range of waterfront experiences at Camp Sequassen.

Jim's Workshop - STEM and Trades Building

Jim’s Workshop at Camp Sequassen serves as the camp’s STEM and Trades hub, offering a well-equipped space for hands-on learning and creativity. This modern facility is designed for merit badge programs, technical workshops, and group projects involving science, engineering, or skilled trades. Workbenches, tools, and instructional space allow participants to explore everything from robotics and mechanics to carpentry and design. Renting Jim’s Workshop provides a safe, functional environment where Scouts and groups can focus on problem-solving, skill development, and teamwork. It is an ideal venue for blending Scouting’s outdoor spirit with modern educational opportunities.

Pisani Pavilion

Pisani Pavilion at Camp Sequassen is a versatile covered facility perfect for group meetings, meals, or program activities. Its open-air design allows participants to enjoy the natural surroundings while being protected from sun or rain. Equipped with picnic tables and ample space, it provides a convenient setting for troops to gather between activities or for hosting special events. Its location in camp offers easy access to nearby trails and program areas, making it both practical and scenic. Renting Pisani Pavilion ensures a reliable, functional gathering place that enhances the outdoor experience without sacrificing comfort.

Platt Field

Platt Field at Camp Sequassen is a wide-open space perfect for large gatherings, sports, and camp-wide events. Its expansive size makes it suitable for everything from troop competitions and field games to flag ceremonies and training exercises. The field provides a level surface that can accommodate many participants at once, creating opportunities for both structured programming and informal recreation. Surrounded by natural scenery, it combines functionality with the beauty of the outdoors. Renting Platt Field gives groups the space they need to build teamwork, celebrate milestones, or simply enjoy an afternoon of fun in the heart of camp.

Rocky's Pavilion

Rocky’s Pavilion is a popular covered facility at Camp Sequassen near the archery range, offering shelter and convenience for troop gatherings, meals, or instructional programs. Outfitted with picnic tables and open sides, it allows groups to enjoy the fresh air while being protected from the elements. Its central location makes it an excellent meeting spot, whether between activities or as a hub for daily camp life. The pavilion’s simple yet functional design makes it adaptable for everything from cooking and dining to crafts and ceremonies. Renting Rocky’s Pavilion provides groups with a dependable, multipurpose space to enhance their stay at camp.

Tomahawk Yard

The Tomahawk Yard at Camp Sequassen is a specialized program area dedicated to tomahawk throwing, a unique and exciting activity for Scouts. Designed with safety and skill-building in mind, it provides structured throwing lanes, durable targets, and space for instruction. The yard is an excellent venue for merit badge work, troop competitions, or simply introducing Scouts to a traditional outdoor skill. Renting the Tomahawk Yard ensures access to a controlled, safe environment where participants can focus on developing accuracy, confidence, and discipline. It is one of Camp Sequassen’s most distinctive facilities, blending adventure with traditional Scouting heritage.
